Médoc 2014
6 bottles carton box.
Price per bottle: 13,50€ incl. VAT
Tasting description
Born on the former Château Layauga vineyard, dismanteled in 1966, this property was acquired by the chef Philippe Jorand. The partnership with Henri Duboscq (Château Haut Marbuzet – St Estèphe), combined with his sister Anne Marie, was formed in 2006 and generated a new frontier for this 15 hectares Médoc property.
Produced with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, grapes of more than 40 years of age, this wine impresses by the perfect balance and the elegance of its tannins. The grapes are manually harvested. This Médoc develops seducing red fruit aromas, combined with toasted and spicy notes. The mouth is enhanced by the concentration, the softness, most refined tannins and a long and peppery final note.
